Overview

Wakana Nikki (和奏にっき, "Harmony Diary") is an English fangame originally thought to have been made by "Kurorosechan6" and "Shirotenshi", before it was later revealed to be a hoax made by Rindre and Doc Saturn. It stars Mimotsuki. Its current version is 0.00, containing only 1 effect, and 2 accessible nexus doors.

The Body Part World has a "bug" in which the chasers are too fast to explore the area normally, leaving only the Snow World to explore. However, the Snow world is extremely small, containing only an effect-giving event, and the door back to the Nexus.

Since 2020, and with permission from the original creators, Annie-Mienai has been managing an RPG Maker VX Ace port and full version of the game, that have been released in 2024.

Plot

Mimotsuki was Madotsuki’s classmate before Madotsuki died, always sitting next to each other in class. Mimotsuki is heartbroken after this, so she refuses to leave her room. After Madotsuki committed suicide, she possessed Mimotsuki, giving her a red eye, so when Mimotsuki goes through her dreamworld, Madotsuki is guiding her. Snow World is the representation of Mimotsuki’s distant personality, and because she was didn’t reach out to Madotsuki before she mysteriously disappeared. Body Part World represents Mimotsuki wanting to be a surgeon, her parents wanting her to be a doctor. Forest World represents Mimotsuki’s fear of getting lost, based on the large forest behind the creator's house. Puddle World would be filled with rain and water, representing Mimotsuki’s tears and depression as a result of Madotsuki's death.

Effects

Six effects were planned, but only one has been implemented.
