Overview
Amiha's Nightmare Castle (悪夢城のアミハ, Akumu-Jou no Amiha) is a non-traditional fangame made by Noyemi K. Having no effects, it is more of a survival-horror game but uses similar puzzle and exploration mechanics to Yume Nikki. It stars Mae, a 16-year-old high school student.
The game was originally released in Japanese, but knowledge of Japanese is not necessary to understand/play the game, and there is an English version for compatibility purposes.
Gameplay
The game focuses on solving small puzzles to get out of the nightmare castle by lighting/interacting with lanterns to the north, south, east, and west.

Plot
The game takes place in 2194, where a high school student in Roya named Mae returns home from the shrine and her parents are missing. Suddenly, the outside world turns pitch black and the interior of her apartment complex has become a nightmare castle for the day. She must escape the castle in order to survive.
