Overview

Book End (ブックエンド, Bukkuendo) is a Japanese Yume Nikki Fangame made by Zusho Riley in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

Book End is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed, and saves by sitting at the desk. The main goal is to explore the dream world and collect Spells (スペル).

Effect Action - Shift

Plot

Book End stars Shiori, a girl who is either unable to or refusing to leave her room, instead choosing to sleep and explore her dreams.

Spells (Effects)

Name	Image	Description
Head (あたま)		Shiori becomes a floating head. Pressing Shift spins her around.
Magnifying Glass (ルーペ)		Shiori's head turns into a magnifying glass.
Cat (ねこ)		Shiori becomes an anthropomorphic black cat.
Paper Knife (ペーパーナイフ)		Shiori holds a paper knife as a weapon. Pressing Shift makes her swing the knife. Can be used to kill NPCs by interacting with them.
Bell (すず)		Shiori carries a bell. Pressing Shift makes her ring the bell, drawing NPCs to her.
Tricycle (さんりんしゃ)		Shiori rides a tricycle, increasing her speed. Pressing Shift makes the tricycle's light turn on briefly.
Wafuku (わふく)		Shiori wears a Wafuku (traditional Japanese clothes). Pressing Shift makes her sit down.
Book (ほん)		Shiori turns into a walking book with a single eye. Pressing Shift returns her to the Nexus.
Bat (コウモリ)		Shiori has bat ears and wings, allowing her to see in the darkness. Pressing shift makes her flap her wings.
Light (ひかり)		Shiori emanates light, illuminating dark areas. Pressing Shift makes her glow, tinting the screen's color.
Wizard (まほうつかい)		Shiori wears wizard clothing and carries a magic stick. Pressing Shift changes the color of the gem on the stick, stopping NPC movement.
Fog (きり)		Shiori turns into fog, making her location foggy.
Glass (ガラス)		Shiori's body turns into glass, lowering her speed.
Another Person (べつじん)		Shiori becomes another person.
