Overview

Ephemreal is a Chinese Yume Nikki Fangame created by -Drifter in RPG Maker 2003. It is currently playable in Chinese, Japanese, and English.

Gameplay

Ephemreal is a traditional fangame. The goal is to explore the dream world and collect effects. You access the dream world by sleeping in the bed, and save by using the computer on the desk.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys
Interact/Select - Z/Enter
Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
Effect Action - Shift
Wake Up - 9

Plot

You play as Sumitsuki and explore her dreams. The only thing we seem to know about her is in the menu she is a pluviophile, meaning she loves rain.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Orca (虎鲸)		Sumitsuki becomes an orca, increasing her speed.
Will-o'-the-wisp (鬼火)		Sumitsuki holds a will-o'-the-wisp in her hand. This effect lights up dark areas.
Headphones (耳机)		Sumitsuki wears headphones. Pressing Shift makes her turn invisible.
Ski goggles (护目镜)		Sumitsuki wears ski goggles. Pressing Shift makes her take them off.
Warning box (警告箱)		Sumitsuki becomes a warning box. Presing Shift makes the red light go back into the box.
Half-beast (半兽)		Sumitsuki becomes a beast.
Umbrella (雨伞)		Sumitsuki holds an blue umbrella as a weapon.
Suitcase (行李箱)		Sumitsuki carries a suitcase. Pressing Shift makes her open the suitcase to back nexus.
Leaf flute (叶笛)		Sumitsuki raises a leaf flute, Pressing Shift makes her play it.
Longhair (长发)		Sumitsuki's hair gets longer. Pressing Shift puts her hair up.
Cocktail (鸡尾酒)		Sumitsuki wears a cocktail dress. Pressing Shift makes her spin around and change her dress style.
Dragonfly (豆娘)		Sumitsuki becomes a small dragonfly. Pressing Shift turns her into a human dragonfly.
Electrostatic (静电)		Sumitsuki's hair becomes full of static electricity. Pressing Shift makes her scratch her hair.
