Overview
Kyomu (虚夢) (lit. Imaginary Dream/Hollow Dream) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame made by urakise (:うらきせ) in RPG Maker 2000. The main character is a young girl named Moyatsuki (もやつき).
Gameplay
Unlike most Yume Nikki fangames, Moyatsuki sits on her bed to daydream rather than sleep. The player can explore the dream world and collect effects. The game is saved at the green diary on the floor of Moyatsuki's room.
Plot
Moyatsuki's appearance and her real room hint she is from a very poor family. She wears no shoes, her room is quite neglected, her bedsheets are ragged, her bookshelf is empty, and she has a dead flower on her balcony. Outside of her dreams, Moyatsuki refuses to leave her room. In contrast to this description, her dream room looks cozy and neat, and she can travel outside of it.
