Overview

Parade (パレード) is a Yume Nikki fangame made by GIOGIO (祇園) (Pixiv). This game and any further info on its creator has been lately taken off the internet.

Gameplay

At the beginning of the game you are given the option to play as either Reika or Iwakutsuki.

Reika either refuses to leave her room, or is stuck inside of it. Trying to open the door just results in a locked door sound. Therefore, the only thing she can do is dream.

Plot

The reason for this game having two protagonists and the relation between them will apparently remain a mystery, as this game was cancelled.

Effects

This is a list of effects based on in-game script and charset images found in the game files. Therefore, errors may occur. If you played this game, you are most welcomed to correct them.

Reika

Name	Image	Description
Contacts (コンタクト)		Reika takes off her glasses and wears contact lenses. Pressing SHIFT makes her raise one of her arms and rub her eye.
Sunglasses (サングラス)		Reika wears sunglasses. Pressing SHIFT makes the screen darken for a second and her glasses twinkle.
Pincushion (はりやま)		Reika's head is used as a pincushion, as yellow spikes/needles stick out of it. Pressing SHIFT makes her look up and they grow/rise.
Pointed Hat (とがり帽)		Reika wears a black witch hat with a white ribbon and a bow.
Severed (せつだん)		Reika's arms were amputated, her glasses are missing and her eyes are hidden.
Headset (インカム)		Reika wears a small one-side headset with a microphone.
Whitewashed (しろぬり)		Reika's skin is completely white. Pressing SHIFT causes it to become pitch black for a split second.
Long-Horned Beetle (カミキリムシ)		Reika gains some visual traits of a black Long-Horned Beetle. Pressing SHIFT turns her into the actual bug.
Prism (プリズム)		Reika's head is replaced with a two-colored prism.
Torpedo (ぎょらい)		Reika becomes a violet torpedo which enhances her speed.
Headlight (ヘッドライト)		Reika wears a headlamp. According to the debug room, this is not a doctor's head mirror.
Macaron (マカロン)		Reika puts a big pink macaron cookie on her head.
Black Coat (黒コート)		Reika wears a hoodless black coat. She puts her hands in its pockets when SHIFT is pressed.
Shitajiki (したじき)		Reika turns into a big red shitajiki (a pencilboard / writing sheet).
Guanyin / Kannon (かんのん)		Reika becomes a Guanyin / Kannon.
Lotus (ロータス)		Reika has a pink lotus on her head.
Wastewater (はいえき)		Reika turns bright green and wears a pipe around herself.
Conductor (しきしゃ)		Reika is dressed in long official (possibly a man's) clothes and holds a conductor's wand. Pressing SHIFT causes her to wave the wand like a conductor.
Student Uniform (がくせいふく)		Reika wears a boy's school uniform.
Dagger		Reika's weapon effect. She wields a dagger and uses to kill other characters.
Black Hat (黒い帽子)		Reika wears Iwakutsuki's hat.
Half Mask (はんかめん)		Reika wears a gray half-mask which can be switched to a mirrored version of it by pressing SHIFT.
Gisai (ぎさい)		Gisai is short for Ritual Priest (儀式の司祭).
Colored Glasses (カラーメガネ)		Reika wears red glasses with orange lenses.
Power Spring (ゼンマイ)		Reika has a power spring on her head, which spins as she walks. According to the debug room, this is not the plant of the same name (Ostrich fern = zenmai).
Segway (セグウェイ)		Reika rides a segway.
Phoenix (ふしちょう)		According to the debug room, this phoenix does not make fire.
