Unfinished effects guide for Time Traveler (Version 0.02)
Effects guide - Mai (V0.02)
Wait for the cutscene to end to gain control of Mai. Go down the narrow hallway. In the next room, go left and enter the double doors. After the cutscene, you'll have the Photo Album, but you can't access the menu yet. Go right and another cutscene will play out. After that go up the narrow hall to the next room and through the double doors.
Enter the doors south from you. Interact with the object at the top of the room. After the screen fades you gain control of 15 year old Mai. Go north and enter the temple. You can now access the menu, save and enter the dream world by sleeping on the tatami floor. When you enter the dream world, leave the temple and enter the nexus via the green door.
Ibuki Mask
Enter the bottom-right door to the Kitsune Land. Navigate your way north-east and find/interact with the NPC wearing the kitsune mask.
Spirit
Enter the bottom-middle door to the Sprit World. Go south then west and interact with the spirit NPC.
Katana
Enter the bottom left door to the Forest World. Go north-east and interact with the tree without leaves in the water. In the Snowy Forest, go north from the tree and go between the two lampposts. Interact with the katana.
Blue Book
Enter the upper-right door to the Zero's World. There's a random chance you'll be taken to a bluer version of that world (door should be blue-green). (If you're not taken there, simply wake up and try again). Go right and enter the doorway in the cylinder (avoid the chasers). Interact with the statue.
Princess Coyote
Enter the Cylinder Forest. Go right and interact with the orb. Interact with the girl on the seat.
Sailor Dress
Enter the House. Go right and up the stairs. Enter the top left door. Go up and interact with the dress on the hook.
Boy
Enter the door with a iron bars to the Shiro's World. Go down then go right and interact with the horned NPC.
School Bike
Enter the Sunset Forest. Follow the path of water around the door to the right then up. Interact with the bike surrounded by three lampposts.
Winter Clothes
Enter the Sunset Forest. Go north-east and interact with the leaf-less tree. In the Snowy-forest, go north-east and enter the house. Go right then up the hallway. Go down to the room full of tables. Make your way to the right and enter the door in the middle of the wall. Go right and up the ladder. Interact with the closet.
Umbrella
Enter the door to the House. There's a random chance that you'll be in the house at night time (if you enter and it's daytime, wake up and keep going back until it's dark). Go right and up the stairs. Enter the top left door. Go up and enter the door on the right to the balcony. Interact with the railing just above the ladder.
After the screen fades, you'll be at the bottom of the ladder. Go down. Go straight right until you're teleported to a long island. Go right and interact with the umbrella. Go up for a short scene and you'll get the effect.
Brown Book
Enter the door with a iron bars to the Shiro's World, go all way east to the highway, keep going along the highway to the city, enter the near north-east building, go and enter the south-east entrance, enter the left double doors, go south-east and climb by the upstairs, enter the door then enter the north-west door and interact with the statue with a book to get effect.
Two-Colored
Before getting this effect enter the Kitsune Land, using map below find two Kitsune's Statues and walk between them to unlcok unlock in Nexus a new door, place known as Sakura for Everyone, find there an NPC in glasses and kill him, then find toril which will brought you in another ink place, go south-east and enter the building, go south and enter the bottom double doors, pass the girl NPC and leave her room, go back in nexus. Follow Brown Book effect guide to the city, on the highway fork go west and enter the building with a blood spot and pink door, welcome to the Dress Room, go north twice, enter the far left door then enter the far right door, go north and interact with the sparkling thing on the wall to get effect.
Flower
Enter the Sunset Forest, go slightly north-west, find the small house and enter in it, follow directions, east, north, west, north, north, east, north, east to the end, north, and north again, go all way east twice (second and third paths is long), go north and climb by the ladder and walk between two plants to the garden, in garden go south-east and interact with green haired NPC to get effect.
Globe
Enter the door which looks like a metal bars to the Shiro's world, BUT when door in the nexus will be opened, if don't, wake up, sleep and go back to the nexus, repeat until door will be opened, follow Brown Book effect guide to the highway, go east and then turn south on the small fork, go east and in next area interact with the streetlight, you will get in Special Dream where you can't use menu and ofcourse effects, you can't even wake up until finish this dream, leave house and meet the school, follow directions, north, west, north, north and east double doors, east, south to the end, west, south, east, south and enter the double doors, north, east and enter the south double doors, interact with the globe in the classroom to get effect. But to get effect fully you should finish this Special Dream, keep follow directions, west, north, east and enter the second double doors, east and enter the second double doors, keep follow directions after small event/cutscene, leave rooms through three doors then go west and enter the double doors, leave school through south exit, after cutscene keep follow directions for the last time, east, south and west on the fork, interact with the red haired kid aka Kyochi to finish this dream.
Fox
Before getting fox enter the Mai's house, go in her room (upstairs and upper left door.), interact with the south-east cabinet you will get/trigger Fragment 1, go back to the nexus, enter the Ghost World/Mansion, go south to the end and then north-west to the entrance, go south to the end and enter the third door from right, interact with the spirit and you will get/trigger Fragment 2, now you triggered Fragment 3 and you ready get your fox effect. Follow Flower effect guide to the Garden, go south-east and walk between two orange flowers, go roughly north-east and step on the blue tile which surrounded by red ones, go north, east, north and interact with the guy in white fox mask to get effect. If Fox Guy don't give effect, then follow Globe effect guide to the end.
Cuphead
Enter the door with a iron bars to the Shiro's World, go all way east to the highway, keep going along the highway to the city, go north to the second fork and turn left, enter the grau building with a double doors and a blood spot, welcome to the Hotel, follow directions, east, west, enter the middle entrance and then use the elevator, go east, enter the entrance, go east and fall trough the hole, interact with the cup to get effect.
Clockhead
Follow Cuphead effect guide to the entrance to the hole but pass the entrance and go north to the window, go east and enter the door with a number 36 on it, enter the black door, interact with the clock to get effect, oh and push action button to skip a black screen.
Nurse
Follow Clockhead effect guide to the end or actually to the effect room, go south, step in the middle pentagram and push z/action button, congrats you are in the hospital, follow directions, north and enter the double doors, north, west to the end/next hall, south to the wall, east and enter the double doors twice, west in the left hallway, east and enter the first normal door from the left, interact with the Nurse behind the glass wall to get effect.
Hollow Eye
Note: You need Katana and Nurse effects to get this one.
Follow Nurse guide to the hallway after two double doors, go east in the right hallway, go east and enter the normal not double door, go east and enter the double door at the end of the hallway, enter the south double doors, go east and using Katana effect enter the south/only double doors, kill the NPC known as Uji, go back to the right hallway, using Nurse effect the double doors, interact with the Uji and after small event/scene you will get effect.
Unlock Kazuki
You need collect Clockhead and Cuphead effects, and trigger some small events.
Young Kyo
Enter the orange door to the Forest World, go north-west, find and enter the small house, interact with NPC with a red hair, this is Kyo in his childhood. BUT you should do this before getting globe efffect and finishing special/school dream.
Young Mai
Enter the bottom left door to the Forest World. Go north-east and interact with the tree without leaves in the water. In the Snowy Forest, go north-east and enter the house. Go right then up the hallway. Go down to the room full of tables. Make your way to the right and enter the door in the middle of the wall. Go right and up the ladder, enter the north exit, go right and interact with the sitting mai.
Kazuki On
Enter the House. Go right and up the stairs. Enter the top left door. Go up and sleep in the bed, interact with the NPC with a black hair, this is Mai's brother, Kazuki.
Zero's Watching
Enter the door with a iron bars to the Shiro's World, Enter the door with a iron bars to the Shiro's World, go all way east to the highway, keep going along the highway until you see an NPC with red hair above you, interact with him, this is Zero.
