Overview

Usagi is a Yume Nikki fangame by LunarRabbit. It stars Umiko.

Gameplay

"Once in the dream world, Umiko can visit numerous surreal worlds, find effects that change her appearance (and give her new abilities) and collect Mementos, which are needed in order to complete the game. While exploring the dream world, the player is encouraged to interpret the different events, locations and NPCs he/she encounters to uncover Umiko's backstory." (Taken from RPG Maker page)

Known Bugs / Issues

1. There may be a file improperly named "klot>" that somehow prevents Umiko from going to her balcony or sleeping and the game crashes. To fix this, rename the file to klot・

Effects & Mementos

To finish the game you must not only collect effects, but mementos as well. There are 6 effects and 14 mementos.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Bunny		Umiko has bunny ears. Her movement speed is increased.
Devil		Umiko's skin turns red and she has black horns. Her eyes are closed and slanted. She can burn NPCs by interacting with them.
Vampire		Umiko becomes a vampire. Pressing Shift teleports her back to the Nexus.
Ghost		Umiko becomes a ghost. Reveals hidden paths when equipped.
Red Hair		Umiko becomes a redhead.
Uniform		Umiko wears a school uniform. Hostile Chasers become neutral.
