Experimental Subject
Nire seems to have been the subject of doubtful experiments. As shown by the various pieces of "secret laboratory" that would tell the story of her childhood;
- We see in the first room two inanimate silhouettes in cages that may be her parents, also chosen for the experiments but not having survived.
- In the second piece a Nire (younger) in the middle of a large number of inanimate silhouettes tries to distract himself and speaks to his hand. This is perhaps a beginning of madness because of the experiences suffered.
- In the third room, we see a large hand pointed to Nire, as if to recall the fact that she was selected, being the only survivor of the experiments.
- In the last room a rope and a stool suggest that Nire has tried to commit suicide traumatized by the horror suffered during the experiments.
- In the manor a Nire in a hospital bed can be found. Young Nire would have been chosen to live serie of experience aimed at finding a cure for the disease.
- The themes of technology, surgery and modified bodies are ubiquitous in the game and seem to support this theory.
Nire is a Clone
Nire in theory is actually a clone, the number 20 during the Eroded event could mean she is the twentieth clone, this theory can be proven by events where there can be many copies of Nire, like two in the pool, one dead in the junkyard, one lying in bed in the Black-White Manor. Nire can have memories of those past clones, even the one special memory where she is eroded and still locked, Nire could also be a clone of black haired girl with blanket from the conveyor room, preferable fan name is Riaru, she was probably terminally sick and has been decided to make her a clone, they made many copies because their life seems to be too short. In the end judging by the Bridge in Sand World event, Nire killed Riaru accidentally, now Nire have feelings of guilt, in form of chasers (blankets with bloody red hands) known as sheets, also the fact that Nire is a clone of Riaru can be proved by the Brunette effect, Riaru had black hair, next fact is that Nire have memories where she is actually been ripped apart and then fixed to normal again, these facts proving that Nire is a clone.
