Overview

Anarchy is a game created in RPG Maker 2003. It follows the .flow model of darker, more visceral imagery, and much of the soundtrack is dark and heavy. Like in a number of fangames and the original Yume Nikki, the eponymous protagonist is unable or unwilling to leave his room.

The game is currently in version 0.00. Two demos have been thus far released.

Gameplay

In this game, a television set is used to save the game and the bed is used to enter the dream world. However, at this time there are not many effects and therefore little reason to save files.

Many of the deeper-hidden maps in this game are labyrinthine with a number of dead ends.

Technical Help

File hero2 cannot be opened.

Copy hero2.png from the FaceSet folder in RPG Maker 2003's Run-Time Package. Paste this in Anarchy's FaceSet folder and launch the game.

File System2c cannot be opened.

Copy System2c.png from the System2 folder in RPG Maker 2003's Run-Time Package. Paste this in Anarchy's System2 folder and launch the game.

Known Bugs

  • Selecting "Me" on the menu screen gives the error "Event script referenced a skill that does not exist," and the game will crash.
