Overview

(not) Dream Syndrome is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame developed by konakun. in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

(not) Dream Syndrome is a traditional fangame. The player can enter the dream world by sleeping in the bed; the Nexus is reached through the dream world's balcony. The goal of the game is to explore and obtain customs (effects). The player can save by using the laptop in the bedroom.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys
Interact/Select - Z/Enter
Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
Effect Action - Shift

Plot

You play as Shiutsuki and explore her dreams.

Customs (Effects)

Name	Image	Description
Wind (カゼ)		A tornado appears above Shiutsuki's head, doubling her speed. Pressing Shift makes her spin around on the spot.
Kemomimi/Animal Ears (ケモミミ)		Shiutsuki has cat ears. Pressing Shift changes the ears to that of a rabbits.
Fluorescent Lamp (ケイコウトウ)		A fluorescent light hangs above Shiutsuki's head like a halo. Pressing Shift while in a dark area will make it brighter.
Harisen (ハリセン)		Shiutsuki holds a Harisen.
Pocket Watch (カイチュウドケイ)		Shiutsuki holds a pocket watch. Pressing Shift makes the screen crack, stopping NPC movement in some areas.
Lightning Rod (ヒライシン)		Shiutsuki has a lightning rod sticking out of her head. Pressing Shift returns her to the Nexus.
Cardkey (カードキー)		Shiutsuki's head turns into a cardkey, allowing her to enter restricted areas.
Shadow (カゲ)		Shiutsuki becomes a shadow.
Leaf (ワカバ)		Shiutsuki sprouts a leaf from the top of her head.
Cocoa (ココア)		Shiutsuki's head becomes a cup of cocoa. Pressing Shift makes some steam waft up.
Danpatsu/Bobbed Hair (ダンパツ)		Shiutsuki has a bobbed hairstyle.
Cube (キューブ)		Shiutsuki's head becomes a cube. Pressing Shift makes a face appear on the cube.
