Hello, I just want to thank you for all the edits you've been making. I know you got tipped about the download link rule and I wanted to say it's really nice of you to go back and fix that mistake yourself. The stuff you've been adding is real useful. I hope you stay around. [[User:ZASNK|--ZASNK]] ([[User talk:ZASNK|talk]]) 01:15, 28 October 2024 (EDT)

:Hey, I read your edit summaries, I'm glad you saw my message :-) Talk pages were always the worst part of this software, and many people have trouble with it, but I'll try to explain it simply:
:Basically, if you want to leave a new message, you can use the <code>New topic</code> option in the dropdown menu next to the edit source button (on different skins it may be a visible option). The subject line will turn into a <code><nowiki>==Header==</nowiki></code> and your message text is just like making a normal edit. For replies, you have to edit the page normally.
:To make a "reply", you need to add one or more ''': colons''' to each line of your reply. Since my reply is directly to my message, I'm using one : colon. If you were to reply to this message, you would use two :: colons. It has to be at the start of ''each'' line, so if you ever hit "enter", make sure to re-add them at the start.
:For both messages and replies, always end your text with <code>'''<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> four tildes''', which will automatically place a signature.
:I hope this is understandable XD either way, don't worry about it too much, like I said nobody really bothers to do this right ;-) [[User:ZASNK|--ZASNK]] ([[User talk:ZASNK|talk]]) 16:56, 28 October 2024 (EDT)

I fixed it, I’m really sorry for the trouble. Thanks for the patience.

Thanks

Hey, I read your edit summaries, I'm glad you saw my message :-) Talk pages were always the worst part of this software, and many people have trouble with it, but I'll try to explain it simply:
Basically, if you want to leave a new message, you can use the New topic option in the dropdown menu next to the edit source button (on different skins it may be a visible option). The subject line will turn into a ==Header== and your message text is just like making a normal edit. For replies, you have to edit the page normally.
To make a "reply", you need to add one or more : colons to each line of your reply. Since my reply is directly to my message, I'm using one : colon. If you were to reply to this message, you would use two :: colons. It has to be at the start of each line, so if you ever hit "enter", make sure to re-add them at the start.
For both messages and replies, always end your text with ~~~~ four tildes, which will automatically place a signature.
I hope this is understandable XD either way, don't worry about it too much, like I said nobody really bothers to do this right ;-) --ZASNK (talk) 16:56, 28 October 2024 (EDT)
