Overview
REM-9: The Yume Nikki Randomizer is an English randomizer mod created by vgperson for Kikiyama's Yume Nikki.
Gameplay
Before the game is set up, players are given a command line executable that allows for different features of the randomizer to be adjusted. These features range from difficulty settings like locked Nexus doors and effect randomization to gameplay settings such as speed options, derandomized events and custom goals. Players can then generate and play a randomized game to their liking.
Gameplay elements unique to this mod include the addition of Essences, bonus items that can be obtained from seeing certain events and can be set as an ending requirement, along with a new alternate ending.
