Hell Diary is current in its early stages with only three effects and a "glyph." Glyphs are collectable like effects, but are used with the Shaman effect to do various things, such as knock down walls into hidden areas. Hell Diary is the first known fangame to do this.
The story is somewhat unclear in the current version, but nonetheless promising. From what have been told so far, it seems that a shaman entered hell to commune with a being called "Amiha" regarding a strange glow in the Jikjon Mountains. But the shaman did not return, and so [[Eun]] is preparing to enter Hell herself to find out what happened.
 
There are no "effects" in Hell Diary, instead there are certain glyphs that when used do things, like destroying walls. There are also items, which can be used for various purposes.
 
Between v0.01 and v0.02 the graphics and many locations changed and a large part of the story was redone.
