Overview

Iter: Itineris (Both latin words for 'journey') is an English Yume Nikki Fangame made by OutlanderS3S starring Ava Garde, a mutant-halfling. It is part of a personal project called The Iter Project.

Plot

Ava Garde was a normal blonde girl until an incident with a mysterious, otherworldly monster. The creature snatched up Beatrice, her friend, and then mutated Ava into a halfling with red hair and green blood. The next day, she could not remember the events, but she did recall her friend being taken. A portal suddenly appeared inside her home. Without any other choice, she went inside and into the Externus, looking for her lost friend.

Gameplay

You play as Ava as you explore the unknown and bizarre realms of the Externus. To enter the strange realm, you have to exit the bedroom go the first door that's glowing green. There you'll see a TV that's been distorted. That's the portal to the next-door dimension!

There is no real goal yet other than to explore the current worlds in the Externus and collect all the XenoVisions (mutations changing Ava's appearance).

In future updates, there will be a more developed storyline in-game, and more pocket dimensions in other rooms.

Ava's bed is used to save the game.

The "Return" section on the menu is used to exit the Externus.

Effects (XenoVisions)

Effect	Image	Description
Mutated		Ava mutates and becomes an Onigo, affecting some NPCs. Pressing Shift causes her to transform.
Velocity		Ava transforms into a Velocidactyl, increasing her speed. Pressing Shift causes her to jump in the air and squawk.
Sharpened		Ava becomes a Scissor-Face, working as a weapon. Pressing Shift makes her stab the ground with her front legs.
Transcended		Ava becomes a Rift Worm. Pressing Shift returns her to the nexus.
Immolated		Ava becomes a Pyrofeline, a fiery cat with a large head on the tip of her tail, affecting some objects and NPCs. Pressing Shift makes her meow.

Trivia

Ava's Mutated XenoVision is a homage to .flow's Rust.
The white monster in the shelf of the living room (where the TV portal is) is the Bladephant from the OFF fangame HOME
