Overview
Someday is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Jojogape (DeviantArt , pixiv and Tumblr accounts).
In this game, you play asItsuki , a boy who is trapped in a low-budget apartment because of a typhoon. The only thing left for him to do is sleep, and dream/
Gameplay
Someday is a traditional-styled fangame. The goal is to explore and collect all the effects. It has a light atmosphere and has very bright, unique graphics, its known for its many areas to explore in the large nexus.
A new featured added in version 0.03 is the Feats system. Feats can be acheved by doing certain things in Itsuki's dream world, such as geting a certain effect, or interacting with a certain number of objects. As of yet, there is no reward for unlocking these "Feats", so far it is entirely optional.
Effect use is the 1 key, and 9 is used to wake up (Itsuki covers his eyes.)
Plot
Itsuki is trapped inside his apartment due to a strong storm outside (looking out the window gives you a glimpse of the storm). Occasionally the power in his apartment goes out due to the storm, but dreaming and waking up again usally fixes it. It is unknown if he dreams for fun, or because there is nothing else to do waiting for the storm to subside. Most of Itsuki's dreams are very light, so it is possible he dreams to escape the real world in a similar way to Chie . The game is still at 0.03, so not much is known about plot/events quite yet.
Effects
So far there are 18 effects in the game, more will probably be added or changed later. Effects are used with the 1 key, but most effects are cosmetic.
- Doodle- Itsuki becomes a blue outline of himself

- 8-bit- Itsuki becomes a low resolution version of himself.
- Scooter- Itsuki rides a scooter that doubles his speed.
- Wrench- Itsuki's weapon. Can be used to break open orange boxes for money and kill npcs. When equiped, some npcs run away from Itsuki. Certain npcs when hit will become chasers when hit.
- Raincoat- Itsuki wears a yellow raincoat, and equiping the effect makes it start to rain.
- TV- Itsukis head becomes a TV. Pressing the 1 key, switches the TV on to a mountain landscape.
- Candle Holder- Itsuki become a walking candle holder with a lit candle.
- Sick- Itsuki's speed decreases and he gets more pale and sick looking.
- Monochrome- Itsuki becomes a monochrome child.
- Blob- Itsuki becomes a walking blob of color. Pressing 1 key allows you cycle through various colors of the blob.
- Scarf- Itsuki wears a warm white scarf.
- Fox- Itsuki grows fox ears and a tail. Equipping this effect allows him to jump over high ledges.
- Clockworker- Itsuki becomes a clockworker. Pressing the 1 key warps Itsuki back to the nexus.
- Glitch- Itsuki's walking becomes glitched and distorted.
- Megaphone- Itsuki's head becomes a Megaphone. Pressing the 1 key makes a sound play.
- Classic- Itsuki becomes his sprite in Version 0.00 of Someday.
- Bald- Itsuki loses his hair.
- Diving Suit- Itsuki wears a diving suit.
