Overview

Uni, named after the Finnish word for dream, is a fangame made with Gamemaker Studio 2. It is notable for its melancholical atmosphere and the wholesome usage of it's engines features. The game is on active development and is updated within interval of months.

Gameplay

Uni is one of the traditional fangames sharing many of the original gameplay elements. You spend most of the time on dreamworld, which you access through sleeping on your bed. Movement isn't limited to grid. The game lacks money system and chasers.

Uni is saved through a painting in the wall. It's recommended to play the game fullscreen with volume turned high.

Plot

You play as a female person named Laskeva afraid or unwilling to leave her room.

The game is set in a melancholical and genera grey dreamscape.

Effects

In Uni, effects are used with Shift.

Effect	Image	Description
Ink		Laskeva transforms into an inkblot. By pressing Shift inksnow starts to rain.
Tear		Laskeva becomes pale. Tears start to rain when Shift is pressed.
Lantern		Laskeva holds a lantern lit with Shift. Can disintegrate certain walls.
Dash	Speed effect of the game. Instead of getting a speed boost, Laskeva dashes on the direction of an arrow as Shift is pressed.
