Gameplay
Uni is a traditional fangame with highly interconnected world. Main difference from Yume Nikki is that the progression is done through single rooms instead of large worlds. The goal is to collect three effects to open a misty gate in the dream world and thus access the ending. The game does not have a money system and it does not contain chasers.
Plot
You play as a female person named Laskeva afraid or unwilling to leave her room.
The game is set in a bluish-grey dreamscape. Many areas contain rain in some form, and some have no music. This results in a melancholical atmosphere.
Effects
In Uni, effects are used with Shift.

Laskeva becomes pale. The effect causes tears or rain to drop. |

Laskeva holds a lantern that can be lit on and off. Can disintegrate certain walls. |
| Dash | Speed effect of the game. Instead of getting a speed boost, Laskeva dashes on the direction of a pointer. It is not reguired for the games ending |
