Yume Nikki is an experimental Japanese indie game from 2005 by developer Kikiyama created on Enterbrain's RPG Maker 2003. It's original elements of gameplay have inspired a large cult following and a wide variety of fangames and spiritual successors. This wiki strives to document these games as well as provide something of a walkthrough for them. You can get started by viewing the directory of games as linked below, searching the wiki to find a page you're looking for, or contributing by adding your knowledge to the database.
Ultra Violet follows the traditional gameplay of exploration and collecting effects, but it quickly caught players' attention with the unique approach to fangame visual aesthetic; pastel colours and candy-like environments contrast starkly with the game's (rare) dark regions.
