Effects Guide
Cellphone
Appearance: Mila transforms into her base sleeping form.
Passive Effect: Mila can wake up.
Action: Pressing Shift causes Mila to wake up in her Apartment as her alarm goes off.
Location: Starting Effect.
Practical Uses: Used to wake up while in the dream world.
The player starts the game with this Effect.
Teddy Bear
Appearance: Mila transforms into a child holding a teddy bear.
Passive Effect: The Sleeping Café gains a teddy bear decoration.
Action: Pressing Shift causes a heart to briefly float above Mila's head as she laughs.
Location: Found in the Toy Closet.
Practical Uses: Used to get to get into the School Lobby.
Enter the Toy Store door through the Nexus go up and right to enter the Toy Closet. The Teddy bear will be in the center of the floor.
Fish Food
Appearance: Mila can transform into a mermaid while in water.
Passive Effect: The Sleeping Café gains a fish bowl decoration.
Action: Pressing Shift causes bubbles to float up from Mila.
Location: Found in the Testing Center.
Practical Uses: Used to swim through the Waterway without drowning.
The player must first have the Teddy Bear effect. Enter the Schoolway door in the Nexus. Use the Teddy Bear Effect at the school to speak to the door guard who will move to allow Mila into the School Lobby. Head up and right through the door into the Testing Center. The Fish Food will be found on the table near the proctor.
Mask
Appearance: Mila transforms into a masked fox spirit.
Passive Effect: Mila can now interact with the Lantern Salesman. The Sleeping Café gains two patrons.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Planets Pool.
Practical Uses: Used to get the Lantern Effect.
The player must first have the Fish Food effect. Enter the Poolway door in the Nexus, go up the stairs and into the Waterway. Once inside the Waterway use the Fish Food effect to swim through the Waterway to get to the Planets Pool. The Mask is floating among the planets in the center of the Pool.
Lantern
Appearance: Mila transforms into a masked fox spirit holding a lantern.
Passive Effect: Mila can now see items hidden in the dark. The Sleeping Café gains lantern wall decorations.
Action: None.
Location: Found at the Yokai Festival.
Practical Uses: Used to get a Marbled Heart in the Dark Room.
The player must first have the Mask effect. Enter the Yokai Festival door in the Nexus. Use the Mask to interact with the Lantern Salesman who will give Mila a lantern.

The Burial Shroud must be worn to enter the Hospital room past the curtains. The Ace of Spades can be found on the table.

Location: Given by the Lolita girl at Harajuku Bridge.

Enter the Bridge door in the Nexus. Interact with the Lolita girl to obtain the Hair Pins.
Mushroom
Appearance: Mila transforms into a purple mushroom.
Passive Effect: Mila can now blend in with the Mushrooms.
Action: None.
Location: Found at the Forest Camp.
Practical Uses: Used to get past the mushrooms blocking the way in the Crescent Room.
Enter the Forest door through the Nexus. Walk down to the mushroom circle to collect the purple Mushroom effect.
