Overview

Dream Wires is a collaborated English Yume Nikki fangame created by sniperbob and Madoreptilian in RPG Maker 2003. The game stars Shigeru.

Gameplay

Dream Wires plays as a traditional fangame. You enter the dream world by interacting with the bed in your bedroom, and saving in the journal. This game currently has no objectives, as the only thing you can do right now is collect a few effects.

Controls

Move - WASD Keys
Open Menu or Cancel - X or Esc
Interact or Select - Z, Enter or Spacebar (Actions Keys)
Effect Action - Shift or 1
Wake Up - 9

Plot

You play as a Protogen named Shigeru (previously named Prototsuki) who currently cannot leave their room due to blocked off exits.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Television		Shigeru's head is replaced by a television. When Shift or 1 is pressed, the screen on the television will be replaced by an eye, before teleporting Shigeru back to the Nexus.
Mantis		Shigeru turns into a mantis.
Deer		Shigeru's head is replaced by a deer head.
Lightbulb		Shigeru's head is replaced by lightbulb. When Shift or 1 is pressed, the lightbulb will turn on, revealing hidden objects.
Pause		Shigeru's head is replaced by play sign. When Shift or 1 is pressed, the sign will change into a stop sign, stopping NPCs movement.

Wheelchair		Shigeru rides on a wheelchair, increasing His speed by double. Only used for debug purposes since version 1.2.
Flower		Shigeru's head is replaced by a flower, when 1 is pressed, the leaves on the flower will fall one by one, before teleporting Shigure back to the Nexus. Replaced by the Television effect in version 1.2.
