Overview

Mangetsu no Yume is an English fangame made by Sekiranun in RPG Maker 2003.

Gameplay

Mangetsu no Yume is a traditional fangame. The player dreams by sleeping in Aotsuki's bed and can save via the desk.

Plot

You play as Aotsuki, a girl who is unable to leave her room because the rest of her house is flooded. The only thing she can do now is to fall asleep and dream.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Star		Aotsuki rides on a star, increasing her speed.
Moon		Aotsuki's head becomes a moon, allowing her to light dark areas. Pressing Shift makes the moon go dim.
Aurora		Aotsuki wears a white dress, sandals, and a headdress that resembles the Aurora Borealis. Pressing Shift causes the screen to flash brightly.
Lime		Aotsuki's body becomes overgrown with limes. This acts as the game's weapon effect, as it can be used to kill NPCs and break open certain walls.
Tengu		Aotsuki becomes a Tengu humanoid. Pressing Shift will make it rain. The appearance of this effect bears a resemblance to Aya Shameimaru from Touhou Project.
Butterfly		Aotsuki gains a pair of butterfly wings, allowing her to fly over gaps.
Nemaki		Aotsuki wears a pair of blue pajamas with a yellow star pattern.
