Overview
Ugain is an English fangame developed by Victor Hannibal in RPG Maker MV. It was created for the Sweet Dreams fanzine in celebration of Yume Nikki's 20th anniversary.
Gameplay
Ugain plays like a traditional fangame. The player starts in a maze area with four different worlds to explore beyond that. Each world contains a Memento (represented by the ! symbol that appears when interacting with certain objects); the player must collect all of the Mementos to unlock the ending. Players can save near the end of the game by interacting with the dream diary.
