Overview

black rain is a collaborative English fangame developed in RPG Maker 2003. The project is currently led by Murasaki no Yume.

Gameplay

black rain is a traditional fangame. Sleeping in the bed takes the player to the dream world. The goal of the game is to explore the dream world and collect Trinkets, which can change the player's appearance and/or grant new abilities. Progress can be saved at the desktop computer in the waking world; to exit the computer, players must select the button at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Plot

The game stars Sizuku, a young girl who doesn't want to leave her room.

Trinkets (Effects)

Name	Image	Description
Swan Car		Sizuku rides in a swan car, increasing her speed. Pressing Shift makes her jump on the spot.
2006-ONI		Sizuku becomes a red-haired oni. Pressing Shift simplifies her sprite.
Ushanka		Sizuku wears a ushanka. Pressing Shift makes snow fall, and changes the color of the ushanka.
