Overview

Manda no Yume (マンダの夢, Manda's Dream) is a Yume Nikki fangame created by LaytonLoztew for the Dream Diary Jam. It stars a girl named Manda.

Gameplay

Manda no Yume is a traditional fangame. The bed is used to enter the dream world, allowing you to explore and collect effects. The laptop in the dream world is used to change the menu theme. The journal in Manda's real room is used to save.

Unlike most fangames, there are two menu slots to equip effects. Effects can be freely combined, either giving Manda an unique ability or allowing her to use both effects without switching.

Another unique feature of this game is a hint system in the form of a hidden NPC. If located, he gives small hints on the location of an unacquired effect.

Plot

You play as Manda as she explores her dreams. Not much else is known about the game's plot.

Jacket		Manda wears a jacket. Pressing A or S makes her stick her hand in her pockets.
Lamp		Manda has a lampshade for a head. Pressing A or S turns the light on, lighting up dark places.
Body Pillow		Manda becomes a body pillow. Pressing A or S returns her to the nexus.
Headphones		Manda wears headphones.
Bow		Manda wears a bow.
Key		Manda has a key in her back, allowing her to unlock doors with gold locks.
Matryoshka		Manda becomes a Matryoshka doll. Pressing A or S makes her small, allowing her to fit into smaller spaces.
Coin		Manda's head becomes a large coin. Interacting with vending machines allows her to warp between vending machine locations. Pressing A makes the coin flip.
Cloak		Manda wears a cloak.
Sword		Manda carries a sword, allowing her to kill NPCs.
Original		Manda wears a red bow and hair clips and a plain blue shirt.
