Overview

S//D is a Yume Nikki Fangame made by Xom. (Xom has also produced the Yume Nikki fangames Tec, and Older) The game stars a boy named Mark. It's made in RPG Maker XP unlike most Yume Nikki fangames, and plays a bit differently than most.

Gameplay

Unlike most Yume Nikki fangames, Mark gets to the nexus right from his door. You can return to your room by pressing the D key or by selecting Eject from the menu. You can save at the bed, and interacting with the vase with a flower can bring up options to toggle hotkeys "S" and "D" off or on.

The hotkeys in S//D are

• A - effect actions
• S - return to normal form
• D - return to your room

Different from most fangames, some of NPCs give Mark a fake effect which will trap him into an enclosed area once it is used. The fake effects have separate options from the real one in menu which have same descriptions, and could be obtained more than one from these NPCs.

Certain chasers and events may cause Mark lose one or all the effects he owned. The lost effects need to be obtained again from the origin.

Opposite (Gender) (逆)		Mark's gender is reversed, (S)he wears a skirt and her/his hair is tied in pigtails with ribbons.
Caster (キャスター)		Mark has casters attached to his shoes that increase his speed.
Kunai (クナイ)		Mark is wielding a pair of Kunais as a weapon.
Cube (キューブ)		Mark turns into a green cube and his speed is slightly down.
Organic EL (有機EL)		Mark's head turns into an organic EL panel. Press the A key cause the panel illuminate that lights dark areas. Organic EL is short for Organic Electro-Luminescence, aka Organic light-emitting diode.
Huge Bronze Statue (巨大銅像)		Mark turns into a huge statue and his speed is slightly down.
Laser Gun (レーザーガン)		Mark is holding a laser gun. (This effect is not implemented as of ver.0.032)
Retro		(This effect is not implemented as of ver.0.032)
