I'm very sorry to say this but... your computer might be too new to run old software like this.

You can however, try replacing the RPG_RT exe with this one. http://mirv.s16.xrea.com/rpg2k/data/RPG_RT2000_151.zip

Otherwise, I am afraid you might have to make a virtual machine and put the game in there. Once again, I'm very sorry.
