Overview
Dreaming Tootsie is a currently in-development Yume Nikki fangame by MikuLeRoux of Secret Society Games. The main character is Tootsie, a kitten who dreams of being human, and with the help of a wise old cat, completes tasks in her dreams in hopes to make her wish come true.
Gameplay
Dreaming Tootsie mainly involves exploration, like many other fangames, but has a focus on completing tasks. Dialogue and storyline are present, but exploration is the main focus.
Unlike most other fangames, Tootsie does not find a weapon effect.
Plot
Tootsie, a barn cat turned house cat, wishes to be human so she can fulfill her dream of rescuing kittens like herself alongside her owner. When she meets a wise old cat, Raleigh, who promises to help grant her wish if she completed tasks for him in her dreams, her wish could be achieved. She sets off into the dream world to try to bring her dreams to reality.
