Overview

Iter: Itineris is an English Yume Nikki Fangame made by SesakaTH ( Tumblr Twitter ). It is part of a personal project called The Iter Project.

The game involves a redhead by the name of Ava. She wasn't the girl she used to be before she had an incident with a Borderling from a parallel dimension, the Externus.

Name origin: Iter Itineris both are Latin words for 'journey'.

Plot

Ava was a normal girl until an incident with a mysterious, otherworldly monster. The creature snatched up Beatrice, her friend, and then mutated Ava. The next day she couldn't remember anything but seeing her friend being taken. A portal suddenly appeared inside her home. Without any other choice, she went inside and into the Externus, looking for her lost friend.

Gameplay

You play as Ava as you explore the unknown and bizarre realms of the Externus. To enter into this strange realm, you have to exit the bedroom go the the first door that's glowing green. There you'll see a TV that's been distorted, the portal. In future updates, there will be more pocket dimensions in other rooms.

Use Space to interact with objects and NPCs and Shift to use XenoVisions.

To leave the Externus, select "Return" in the menu.

Save your progress in bed.

Effects

Effects in Iter Itineris are known as XenoVisions.

Effect	Image	Description
Mutated		Ava mutates and becomes an Onigo. Affects some NPCs. Press Shift and she transforms.
Velocity		Ava transforms into a Velocidactyl. Changes Ava's speed. Press Shift and she'll jump in the air and squawk
Sharpened		Ava becomes a Scissor-Face. Ava's weapon. Press Shift and she'll stab the ground with her front legs.
Transcended		Ava becomes a Rift Worm. Press Shift and she'll return to the nexus.
