Effects Guide
Threshold
Become black and white.
Appearance: Higurashiki's sprite becomes monochromatic.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Music World.
Practical Uses: None.
From the Nexus, go left and enter the "Passion" incubator. You will now be in Music World, which is entirely black and white. Head northwest and interact with an NPC with a pointy hat to obtain the effect.
Inverted
Invert your colors.
Appearance: Higurashiki's color scheme becomes inverted.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Abstract World.
Practical Uses: None.
In Music World, go left and interact with a neon plant to enter Abstract World. Go northwest to find two vending machines. To solve the vending machine puzzle, interact with the bottom one first. When asked what you want to do, choose "press a button" to obtain a coin. Repeat this process at least once, as more than one coin is necessary. Once you have two or more coins, interact with the top vending machine and choose to insert a coin. This will change the inverted colors to normal colors. The vending machines are now blue. Interact with the blue vending machine on the bottom and insert a coin to obtain the second effect.
Kawaii
Wear a kawaii face .
Appearance: Higurashiki's facial expression becomes happier.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Anime World.
Practical Uses: None.
In Abstract World, invert the colors to make everything blue. The second of the two incubators here will now be accessible. Enter it to access Anime World, where a cute anime girl scrolls across the floor. Head north to find the blue-haired anime Senpai. He will ask you to deliver a message to his kohais. Afterwards, interact with any of the 3 kohais and they will grant you the third effect.
Monk
Become a monk.
Appearance: Higurashiki wears monk robes.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Knowledge World.
Practical Uses: None.
In the Nexus, go right and enter the "Duty" incubator. You will now be in Knowledge World. Go south and sit down in the chair to obtain the effect.
Armor
Don a suit of armor.
Appearance: Higurashiki wears a suit of armor.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in Labor World.
Practical Uses: None.
Within Knowledge World, go northwest and find and interact with a moving cell phone NPC that changes color to enter Technology World. Here, search until you find a silver door with bars. Enter it to access Labor World. Scattered throughout Labor World are 6 switches. Locate them all and interact with them to switch them into the "on" position. The order does not matter. Upon activating the 6th switch you will obtain the fifth (and final) effect.
Events
Red Book
When you enter Knowledge World through the Nexus, there is a 1/5 chance a red book will be lying open on the floor northwest near the chair-less desk. Read it to see the event.
When entering Higurashiki's bedroom from the nexus, there is a 1 in 12 chance the computer will be on instead of off. If it's on, interact with it to see the event. This event may spoil ending details, so be advised before proceeding.
Ending Guide
Once you have obtained all 5 effects, return to the Nexus and walk downwards to enter the final room. You cannot access this room without first obtaining every effect. Once you have entered into this room you can enter the incubator to access the ending.
