Overview
N8SU is an English fangame created by Finlay H.J./ko-4 in Pico8. It is an unnoficial remake of the original NASU. It stars a character similar to NASU, the titular character from Madotsuki console's sole minigame of the same name.
Gameplay
In N8SU, the player controls NASU, collecting as many eggplants as they can to earn a high score. Each eggplant eaten rewards in points, getting high scores may reward in unlocking new costumes for NASU.
Gameplay is very similar to the original, you jump to collect falling eggplants, and pink eggplants spawn rarely which give a large amount of points to the player. If a purple eggplant falls to the ground without the player eating it, the game resets.
N8SU adds a new mechanic; Diving. While in the air, the player can dive down to get to places faster. Chaining jumps and dives correctly will allow the player to get to eggplants with ease.

- Left/Right - Move
- Z (Classic) / Up (New) - Jump
- X (Classic) / Down (New) - Dive (while jumping)
- Enter - Pause
By default, Classic controls are selected, but the player can select the new controls in the pause menu at any time if they so wish.
