Overview
Listed here are status effects (or states) and their properties. A few notes about states:
- Any damaging state causes 10% damage in battle every turn and 1% damage every 2 steps in field.
- Any state that disables magic only disables skills that have an Atk influence of 0. This usually applies to healing moves, status afflicting moves, and attacks with fixed damage (Stone Heart's Wound, Thorns, etc.), but there are exceptions (like Confusion Wave, Yell Order, Bizzare Cure Magic, to name a few).
- Having a state that disables evasion does not guarantee the enemy a hit each move, but rather removes the defender's speed and evasion from hit chance calculations.
- Physical damage is defined as damage dealt from normal attacks or skills with an Atk influence of 1 or more.
Non-combat <1>
The dead state. Removes almost all other states when applied.
Rigid
Disables movement and evasion. 98% chance of release after 2 turns. Released after battle.
Poison
Damaging state. Released after battle.
Dazzle
Disables evasion. Hit rate reduced to 20%. 98% chance of release after 3 turns. Released after battle.
Mute
Disables magic. 50% chance of release after 4 turns. Released after battle.
Confused
Afflicted always attacks allies. 50% chance of release after 4 turns, or 50% chance every time physical damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Asleep
Disables movement and evasion. Agility reduced to 0% (to guarantee critical hits). Def and Sp. Def reduced to 0%. 10% chance of release after 5 turns, or 80% chance every time physical damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Palsy
Disables movement. Agility reduced to 50% (to increase critical hit chance). Evasion decreased by 5 points. 30% chance of release after 3 turns, or 10% chance every time physical damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Power↓↓
Atk reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Dex↓
Dexterity reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Agi↓
Agility reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Sp.Atk↓
Sp. Atk reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Power↑↑
Nonresistant. Atk raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Anti-phy↑
Nonresistant. Def raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Anti-spi↑
Nonresistant. Sp. Def raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Avoid↑
Nonresistant. Evasion increased by 100 points. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Faded Bonds
Special state. Disables standard attack and skill use. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Atk Seal
Special state. Disables standard attack use. Released after battle.

Special state. Disables guarding. Released after battle.
Item Seal

Yell Formula <1>
Special state, exclusive to Yell Oder-Eq. 1. Nonresistant. Attack, Atk, and Def raised to 120%. Sp. Def raised to 110%. Released after 1 turn, or after battle.
Curse
Hit Rate, Attack, Dexterity, Agility, Sp. Atk, Atk, Def, and Sp. Def reduced to 80%. Evasion decreased by 30 points.
Anti-phy↓
Def reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Dex↑
Nonresistant. Dexterity raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Agi↑
Nonresistant. Agility raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Atk↑
Nonresistant. Atk raised to 150%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Sp.Atk↑
Nonresistant. Sp. Atk raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Atk↓
Atk reduced to 50%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Normal <1>

Nokezori
Disables evasion. Hit Rate, Dexterity, Agility, Def, and Sp. Def reduced to 80%. Releases Power↑↑, Anti-phy↑, Avoid↑, Yell Formula, and Yell Cease. 90% chance of release after 1 turn, or 50% every time physical damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Dead <1>
Disables movement and evasion. Released after 2 turns, or after battle.
Applied to the user of Astro Cannon.
Dead <2>
Disables movement and evasion. Released after 1 turn, or after battle.
Leeched
Disables evasion. Afflicted always attacks allies. Hit Rate, Attack, Dexterity, Agility, and Atk raised to 200%. Sp. Atk, Def, and Sp. Def reduced to 0%. Applies itself. 10% chance of release after 5 turns, or 50% every time physical damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Anti-spi↓
Sp. Def reduced to 0%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Yell Cease
Special state, applied when Yell Formula-eq. 2 is used the turn after Yell Formula-eq. 1. Nonresistant. Attack and Atk raised to 200%. Def raised to 160%. Sp. Def raised to 140%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Shielded
Nonresistant. Disables movement. Attack raised to 120%. Dexterity, Agility, Def, and Sp. Def raised to 200%. Released after 3 turns, or after battle.
Frozen
Disables movement and evasion. 40% chance of release every time damage is dealt. Released after battle.
Shrinked
Attack, Dexterity, Agility, Sp. Atk, Def, and Sp. Def reduced to 50%. Evasion increased by 10 points.
Caught
Exclusive to equipping the Cross Coat. Hit Rate, Max SP, Attack, Dexterity, Agility, Sp. Atk, Atk, Def, and Sp. Def raised to 200%. Max HP reduced to 1%. Evasion increased by 98 points.
Inactive
Disables movement and evasion. Agility reduced to 0%. Def and Sp. Def raised to 200%. 30% chance of release every time physical damage is dealt. Released after 6 turns, or after battle.
Normal <2>
The normal state(?). Nonresistant. Released after battle. State name is not displayed in battle.
[Dull Necklace]
This state is applied as long as the Dull-colored Necklace is equipped. State name is not displayed in battle.
[Topaz Disk]
This state is applied as long as the Sqtopus Veil Disk is equipped. State name is not displayed in battle.
Unopened
Special state. Disables skill and item use. Released after battle.
Dragon
Special state. Disables item use.
Eclipse
Sp. Def reduced to 20%. Released after battle.
Flight
Nonresistant. Evasion increased by 100 points. Released after battle.
[Ribbon]
This state is applied as long as A Bright Red Ribbon is equipped. State name is not displayed in battle.
[Belt]
This state is applied as long as the Transformation is equipped. State name is not displayed in battle.
No-items
Special state. Disables item use. State name is not displayed in battle.
Peaking
Max HP reduced to 80%. State name is not displayed in battle. Released after battle.
Hold Breath
Sp. Atk and Sp. Def reduced to 20%. Released after battle.
Interestingly enough, there are 4 Hold Breath states. Each have their own animations, and the first one has slightly different resistance rankings than the others.

Just like the Poison state, except it's not released after battle.

Hit rate and Atk reduced to 50%. Max HP and Max SP reduced to 80%. Attack, Dexterity, Agility, and Sp. Atk reduced to 20%. Def and Sp, Def reduced to 0%. Evasion decreased by 100 points. State name is not displayed in battle. 80% chance of release after 2 turns. Released after battle.
