Overview

Lost † Game is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame made by Atami (熱海) in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

Unlike most Yume Nikki fangames, the main character is already dreaming. Exiting the barred area leads directly to the Nexus. Collecting an effect (or Symbol) causes it to appear in the nexus. To reach the ending, all thirteen Symbols must be collected and placed in the coffins seen at the start of the game.

Outside of minimal dialogue, Lost † Game is unique in its use of a Game Over system upon being captured by a chaser or otherwise trapped. To compensate for this, the player can save at any time from the menu.

Plot

You play as a girl named Sakura (さくら). Sakura seems to be trapped in a dream world full of strange creatures. The chasers, known as reapers or "death gods", can harm Sakura directly.

Symbols (Effects)

Ferret (フェレット)		Sakura wears a ferret costume, increasing her speed.
Metal Pole (きんぞく)		Sakura holds a metal pole as a weapon, allowing her to kill NPCs and break open certain doors.
Marmot (モルモット)		Sakura has a marmot's head. Pressing Shift transforms her into a marmot, making her small enough to fit through holes/gaps and access new areas.
Headband (カチューシャ)		Sakura wears a pink and yellow headband with cat ears. Pressing Shift makes her wiggle her hips and put her hands up like cat paws, causing NPCs to be drawn to her, move out of her way, or act differently.
Bat (こうもり)		Sakura wears a gothic dark blue outfit with wings, allowing her to fly and see in dark locations.
Swan (はくちょう)		Sakura wears a white swan outfit with a swan's head in the front of the skirt and wings on her back.
Mourning Clothes/Mofuku (もふく)		Sakura wears a gothic outfit with a black skull on her head. Pressing Shift makes her transparent and invisible to chasers, but not invulnerable.
Nurse (ナース)		Sakura wears a pink nurse uniform with a cap; Her hair is tied in a side braid held with a ribbon.
Wheelchair (くるまいす)		Sakura rides in a blue wheelchair.
Black and White (しろくろ)		Sakura's hair becomes white and braided, tied with a green ribbon. She also grows panda ears and wears a black and white outfit. Pressing Shift makes her become monochrome.
Scales (うろこ)		Sakura becomes a mermaid.
Albino (アルビノ)		Sakura has white rabbit ears, red eyes and white hair. She wears a black and red gothic dress. Pressing Shift makes her hop up and make the same sound the catball NPCs do when they jump.
Joker (ジョーカー)		Sakura wears a red and blue jester/joker's outfit.
