Overview
Madoro-Mu (まどろ夢) (lit."Window Dream") is a Yume Nikki fangame that features a protaganist named Isokishi.
Like most fangames, Isokishi starts the game in her bedroom, yet she can use her bed to save the game and actually leave her room.
Gameplay
Rather than having a nexus full of doors, Isokishi's nexus consists of three windows. One is nailed shut until later in the game. Isokishi returns to her room by sitting down and nodding her head, possibly sleeping.
There is little to no sound in the game.
Plot
Isokishi seems to be already dreaming, or possibly stuck in a dream since you can enter the nexus right from her bedroom door.
Effects
Madoro-Mu has 9 effects.There are a total of nine effects that can be found in Madoru-Mu:
- Rabbit - Isokishi gains rabbit ears and red eyes, her walking speed is increased slightly. (It can be attained by interacting with a white rabbit in the clover section of the Giant Garden.)
- Pudding - Isokishi's head becomes a pudding, this effect appears to be cosmetic only. ( Interacting with a pudding on a plate in Dessert World will give you this effect)
- Mermaid - Isokishi turns into a mermaid. ( Found - Finding the five stands next to each other in the festive world and interacting with the one with the fish tail will give you the effect)
- Angler Fish - Isokishi's head becomes that of an Angler fish, it helps to light up dark places. ( Can be found by interacting with a small angler fish on the Ocean Floor)
- Scythe - Isokishi wields a scythe, this can be used to kill NPC's ( Can be found in the grave-stone world by interacting with a bloodied scythe)
- Rain Plant - Isokishi's head becomes a rain plant, when equipped; rain begins to fall. ( Found in Lilypad World, interact with the rain plant there to get it)
- Surgical Mask - Isokishi wears a surgical mask, this is just a cosmetic effect. ( You can get the surgical mask by interacting with the lone nurse in the hospital area)
- Invisibody/ Floating Head - Isokishi's body becomes invisible except for her head ( Found in the endgame. Interact with the headless person in the red door, then enter the green uboa's 'mouth'. Walk up the red carpet to the headless princess and you will receive the effect. )
- Driving Wheel - Isokishi's head becomes a driving wheel ( Found ????)
