Overview

Moonlit Lobby is a Yume Nikki fangame created by bithox for the 2017 Dream Diary Jam. It stars a cat named Harley.

Gameplay

Moonlit Lobby is a traditional fangame. There are several dream worlds that can be explored to find effects (known as Roles). Standing on the cushion allows Harley to enter the dream world.

One unique feature of this game is the inclusion of story fragments. In each dream world, interacting with NPCs may give Harley a story fragment (represented by the amount of gold in the inventory). The main goal of the game is to use effects to collect every fragment in each world to create a full story.

Plot

The protagonist of Moonlit Lobby is Harley, a cat who goes into a hotel to escape from the rain. A couple offers to let them stay in their room for the night in exchange for some stories.
