Effect Guide (Kubotsuki)
Fast Forward
Speed up movement.
Appearance: Kubotsuki's head is replaced with a fast forward symbol.
Passive Effect: Kubotsuki's walking speed increases.
Action: (Shift) Kubotsuki's sprite becomes distorted.
Location: Found at the Cinematic Cliff.
Practical Uses: Used to travel through the dream world faster and out-speed chasers.
Enter the Surreal City. Go north-east and go to the chaser area. Interact with the static tv. Leave the chaser area. Go north-east and interact with the bus. Interact with the tv.
Boombox
Have a cassette player for a head.
Appearance: Kubotsuki's head is replaced with a boombox.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Opens a sound test (ver.0.03 and older only).
Location: Found in the Classic Restaurant.
Practical Uses: None.
From where you get the Snowglobe effect, go slightly north east and go in between the metal bars. Make your way through the fancy restaurant. Interact with the boombox.
Snowglobe
Turn into a snowglobe and make snow.
Appearance: Kubotsuki becomes a snowglobe.
Passive Effect: Snow falls while this effect is equipped.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Stars and Beds World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the Stars and Beds World. Go directly right and interact with the snowglobe.
Dark Matter
Turn into dark matter that powers machines.
Appearance: Kubotsuki's color scheme is inverted.
Passive Effect: Activates the moving panels in the Waste Plant.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Waste Plant.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the Static Ring World. Go south-east and through the archway. Go right to the next area. Go: Right, Down then Left. Interact with the moving blob.
Lamppost
Generate light.
Appearance: Kubotsuki's head is replaced with a lamppost.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Lamppost World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the Lamppost World. Go north-east and interact with the lamppost that has a question mark on it.
Box
Hide in a box to return to the Nexus.
Appearance: Kubotsuki carries a box.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Kubotsuki hides in the box and is warped to the Nexus.
Location: Found in the Glitched House.
Practical Uses: Used to quickly return to the Nexus.
Enter the Moonlit Islands. Go north and interact with the floating gold specks to be teleported. When you reach a two-way path, choose the bottom orb then interact with the one on your right. Cross the bridge, interact with the orb then enter the doorway.
Enter the door across from you. Once outside, go right and enter the house. Go into the hallway then enter the door furthest to the right. Go up the stairs. Walk down to the end of the hall. Interact with the open box.

Star
Become a shining star fit for the night sky!
Appearance: Totsutsuki's head is replaced with a star.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Totsutsuki is warped to the Nexus.
Location: Found inside the Cave in Broken World.
Practical Uses: Used to quickly return to the Nexus.
Enter Broken World. Go north-east and under a pink structure. In the Cave, interact with the yellow symbol.
Music Box
Play a song with your head!
Appearance: Totsutsuki's head is replaced with a music box.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Opens a sound test (ver.0.03 and older only).
Location: Found on the Dark Path.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the Rainy Garden. Go down and take the south path then when it splits off, take the path going left. Enter the door and interact with the book on the floor. Walk across the Powerline Path and enter the barn. Interact with the book on the floor. Go left and interact with the music box.
Lily of the Valley
The tears of a lady. This plant's extremely toxic.
Appearance: Totsutsuki becomes a Lily of the Valley.
Passive Effect: NPC's will move away from Totsutsuki.
Action: (Z) When interacting with a NPC, Totsutsuki will attack them with a cloud of poison.
Location: Found in the Rainy Garden.
Practical Uses: Allows you to kill NPC's.
Enter the Rainy Garden. Go down and take the path to your left. Interact with the Lily of the Valley at the end of the path.
Cape
Just like a superhero!
Appearance: Totsutsuki wears a cape.
Passive Effect: Totsutsuki's walking speed increases.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Gusty World.
Practical Uses: Used to travel through the dream world faster.
Enter the Gusty World. Go up and where the path splits, go right and interact with the flag.
UV Light
Become an ultra violet light!
Appearance: Totsutsuki's head is replaced with a UV light.
Passive Effect: Reveals hidden objects.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Violet Cave.
Practical Uses: Allows player to find hidden objects/paths.
Enter the Gusty World. Go down and when the path splits, take a left then take the path underneath going right. Interact with the green paintbrush. Go down again and take a right where the path splits before going up again. Interact with the tin of dark blue paint. Go right to the next area and interact with the UV light on the ground.
Sunflower
A smiling flower!
Appearance: Totsutsuki's head is replaced with a Sunflower.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Flora Laboratory.
Practical Uses: None.
(UV Light is needed) Enter the Star Field. Go south-east and enter the house. Go down the stairs. Equip the UV Light effect and enter the door at the end of the hall. Navigate your way through the lab and find a room with a big sunflower. Interact with the sunflower.
Nightcap
Sleepy in a dream?
Appearance: Totsutsuki wears a nightcap.
Passive Effect: Totsutsuki's walking speed decreases.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Sky Walkway.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the Star Field. Go north-west and between the square pillars. Follow the path going down. When the path starts to split, first take the path going down then the one going left. Interact with the NPC wearing the nightcap.
Event Guide (Kubotsuki)
Kuboa Event (ver.0.02 and older only)
Mess with the light switch in Kubotsuki's Dream Room until the colors change, then interact with the TV and pinch yourself awake.
