Overview
withers is a Japanese Yume Nikki Fangame created by Garakuta in RPG Maker 2000.
Gameplay
withers is a traditional fangame. You enter the dream world by sleeping in the bed and your goal is to explore and find all the effects. Progress is measured by the board in Yakitsuki's real room, which fills with photos as you gain efffects. Interacting with the desk allows you to save.
Plot
You play as a girl named Yakitsuki, who stays in her room and doesn't want to go out.

Yakitsuki becomes a mutated monster. Pressing Shift turns her into a Guinea Pig. |

Yakitsuki wears a muffler. Its color will change randomly when equipped. Pressing Shift makes the muffler billow. |

Yakitsuki has mushrooms on her head. Pressing Shift makes the mushrooms glow, lighting up dark places. |

Yakitsuki turns into a walking vase. Pressing Shift makes a flower pop up. The flower has a random chance of being a different color. |
| Scarecrow (かかし) |

Yakitsuki becomes a scarecrow. |
| Hat and Coat (ぼうしとコート) | 
|
Yakitsuki wears a brown hat with goggles and a winter coat. Pressing Shift makes her put on her goggles and cause snow to fall. |
