Overview
Amiha's Nightmare Castle (悪夢城のアミハ, Akumu-Jou no Amiha) is a game made by Noyemi K, and is more of a survival horror sort of game, but follows similar puzzle and exploration mechanics like Yume Nikki.
It stars Mae, a 16 year old high school student whose house becomes a nightmarish castle for a day.
The game was originally in Japanese, but knowledge of Japanese is not necessary to understand/play the game, and there is an English version for compatibility purposes.
Gameplay
The game focuses on solving small puzzles to get out of the nightmare castle by illuminating/interacting with four lanterns, most involving lighting lanterns. You can dash by holding the Shift key, and interact with many puzzles and other objects.
Plot
The game takes place in 2194, and a high school student in Roya named Mae returns home from the shrine and her parents are missing, suddenly the whole world outside is pitch black and her apartment complex becomes a nightmare castle.
