Overview

Yume Nisshi (夢日誌) is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Zenmaigahara (Twitter) The game stars Usotsuki (うそつき) (Lit. Liar) Not to be confused with Urotsuki (Yume 2kki Protagonist). Much like other fangame characters, Usotsuki appears to be unable and unwilling to leave her room.

Unlike the other fangames, however, you can bring the save item along with you while you're dreaming.

In this game, there are 18 effects to collect and no endings. As you explore Usotsuki's dreams, more doors appear in the nexus. The latest version of the game is version 0.03.

This game has been discontinued. The creator also mentioned they don't want anyone to make anymore gameplay videos of it. It is speculated that they are angry about "westerners" playing and stealing copyrighted material due to their actions and rants in the past.

Gameplay

Yume Nisshi is a traditional styled fangame that is darker than Yume Nikki, and gives off almost a .flow-like feeling, but has a different "dark" atmosphere. The main gameplay being collecting effects and exploring Usotsuki's dreams.

"Go*d Night World"

Like most protagonists, she does not want to, or is unable to leave her room, and she sleeps and dreams.

In Usotsuki's real room, there is a debug room that appears when she interacts with one of the corners. However as of ver.0.03, the radio's blocking the doorway that appears.

When entering the dream world, a screen with the writing "Go*d Night World" in broken, sketchy letters appears, and then you are transported to the Nexus.

As of yet, this game has no ending, but many events.

Plot

Yume Nisshi seems to have certain themes of delicate antiques, but with a sharp edge. It is currently unknown why Usotsuki refuses to leave her room, or why the "Good Night World" picture comes up before entering the dreamworld.
