Overview

Yume-Utsutsu (ゆめうつつ, 夢現) (literally translated as 'Trance') is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame produced by Gaimonn in RPG Maker 2000.

Gameplay

Yume-Utsutsu is a traditional Yume Nikki fangame, where you collect effects and explore the various dream worlds. It tends to follow along some of the darker themes with unsettling music and worlds.

The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed, and saves by sitting at the desk.

Plot

It stars a young girl known as Utsutsuki (うつつき) who wanders through worlds in her dreams.

Squid (イカ)		Utsutsuki turns into a squid.
Black Hair (くろかみ)		Utsutsuki's hair becomes black.
Mole (もぐら)		Utsutsuki gains some mole traits - she has a red nose and claws. Pressing Shift makes her burrow into the ground and return to the Nexus.
Sunglasses (サングラス)		Utsutsuki wears a pair of sunglasses.
Knife (ナイフ)		Utsutsuki wields a knife which she uses as a weapon to kill NPC's. Pressing Shift makes her do a stabbing motion with the knife. Holding Z allows you to kill NPCs.
Laminated Paper (ハリボテ)		Utsutsuki become a figure of herself made of laminated paper. She appears to be completely flat.
Scooter (スクーター)		Utsutsuki rides a scooter that enhances her speed. Pressing Shift sounds the scooter horn.
