Overview
Candy Rain is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Feno/Phoeno (ふぇの). Itstars a girl named Minazuki (みなづき) and features quite simple, but both light-hearted and utterly disturbing dream worlds. Effects are called Candy in this game, all of them are taste-related.
Gameplay
The objective and most of the game mechanics are quite average for a fangame. You save at the red book and enter Minazuki's dreams by sleeping in her futon (Japanese bedding). The unusual thing about this game is that in order to wake up from the dream you will need to push Shift + Enter.
Due to the game being at an early stage of its development, there appear to be two hidden well debug rooms in this game, which were added in different game versions.
Plot
Minazuki is a girl with dry skin who had shut herself in the attic of her house, where she appears be living at the moment. Attempting to leave her room through the door causes the screen to go black for a split second, then she steps away from it. Thus all she can do is explore her own dreams and collect the candy that they contain. Even though the effects here are called "Candy", not all of them are sweet or even candy. So it might be more accurate to call them taste-related effects.

There is an additional "Normal effect" which, if selected, removes any effects in use, returning Minazuki to her original form.
