Mods Guide
Palette Swap
Change color.
Appearance: Kurotsuki's color palette changes.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Kurotsuki's colors swap between three different palettes.
Location: Found in Palette Swap Area.
Practical Uses: Can be used to access new areas.
In the nexus, enter the green door. Head northeast and go between a ring of orange flower bushes. Navigate the simple maze to get to the object in the center. Stand on it to get to a new area and go south. In the looping area, go southeast and stand on a glowing area. Equip the Command mod and interact with television NPCs with red, yellow, and blue faces and lead them to the corresponding color tiles in the center of the room. Once all NPCs are on the correct tile, a new entrance will appear. Go through it and head left, interacting with a vat of multicolor liquid.
Disguise
+100 strength.
Appearance: Kurotsuki wears a disguise comprised of shorter hair and sunglasses.
Passive Effect: Kurotsuki can push larger objects marked by a yellow circle on the ground.
Action: (Shift) Kurotsuki tilts down the the sunglasses.
Location: Found in Mother 3 Area.
Practical Uses: Can be used to access new areas.
Enter the leftmost door in the nexus. Head a bit right and then up. Enter the doorway near a bed. Interact with the hot spring.
Command
Lead the way.
Appearance: Kurotsuki's head is replaced with a multi-colored sail.
Passive Effect: Certain NPCs will follow her when interacted with.
Action: None.
Location: Obtained by default.
Practical Uses: Can be used to access new areas and obtain a mod.
This effect is automatically gained at the start of the game.
Enthusiasm
You feel like running!
Appearance: No sprite change; can be combined with other mods.
Passive Effect: Kurotsuki's movement speed increases.
Action: (Shift) If no other mod is equipped, Kurotsuki pulls up/down her hood.
Location: Obtained by default.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world faster.
This effect is automatically gained at the start of the game.
Events
Ending
Collect all mods and enter the top left door in the nexus. Equip the Palette mod and use the action key to turn Kurotsuki's shirt red, then stand on the red tile near the vending machine. Change her shirt to match the color tiles that appear and stand on them until a yellow circle appears next to the vending machine. Equip the Disguise mod and stand on the circle, interacting with the machine. Go though the opening and talk with the cat, who will tell you that you've reached the end.
