Effects Guide
Moon
Replace my head with the moon.
Appearance: Aotsuki has a bright full moon for a head.
Passive Effect: Lights up dark areas.
Action: (Shift) The moon dims. Pressing Shift again relights the moon.
Practical Uses: Makes it easier to navigate dark areas.
Enter the top-left door in the Nexus. Cross the bridge below you then go right. Once you reach another bridge, go south then go right, following the stone path leading to the gray building. At the end of this path is a castle; to the left of said castle is a tower with a floating moon in front of it. Interact with the moon to get the effect.
Lime
Become overgrown with limes.
Appearance: Limes grow on Aotsuki's body.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Z) When interacting with NPCs and certain walls, Aotsuki will attack them.
Practical Uses: Allows Aotsuki to kill NPCs and break walls.
Enter the bottom-right door in the Nexus. In the grass area, go south-east from the Nexus door and step onto the pulsating dark green tile on the grass. Make your way to the NPC at the center of the dark room and interact with them to get the effect.
Aurora
Have an aurora float above your head.
Appearance: Aotsuki wears a white dress and has an aurora above her head.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The screen flashes brightly.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the top-right door in the Nexus. In the tile area, go south-east and interact with the aurora at the center of a flower-shaped patch of tiles.
Tengu
Become a crow tengu.
Appearance: Aotsuki becomes a tengu humanoid with black wings.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Rain falls. Pressing Shift again makes the rain stop.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the bottom-left door in the Nexus. In the snow area, go south-east from the Nexus door and look for a large and tall stone platform. Go up the stairs in front of the platform and enter the building on top. Go through the hole in the wall. On the other side of the hole, go right and up. Walk up the stairs then go left when you hit a wall. Cross the bridges facing north and you should reach a winged humanoid statue. Go north again, behind the statue, and go up the stairs past the crow statue. Walk through the entryway between the stone lanterns then interact with the spirit under the torii.
Butterfly
Grow butterfly wings.
Appearance: Aotsuki gains a pair of blue butterfly wings.
Passive Effect: Aotsuki becomes able to fly over gaps.
Action: None.
Practical Uses: Allows Aotsuki to reach areas that are otherwise inaccessible.
Enter the top-left door in the Nexus. Cross the bridge below you then go right. Once you reach another bridge, go south and enter the gray entryway. Cross the narrow hallway to reach a forest area. In said forest area go north-west, following the dirt path, and interact with the tall statue at the top of a set of stairs. Make your way to the top of the grassy cliff area and interact with the butterfly.
Star
Ride on a floating star.
Appearance: Aotsuki rides on a star.
Passive Effect: Aotsuki's movement speed increases.
Action: None.
Practical Uses: Allows Aotsuki to travel around faster.
Enter the bottom-left door in the Nexus. In the snow area, go right from the Nexus door until you can only see the shadow of the lamp on the ground. From here go down to a set of small houses. There should be a NPC walking about near this area. Interact with said NPC to get the effect.
Nemaki
Wear pajamas.
Appearance: Aotsuki wears blue pajamas with a yellow star pattern.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the top-right door in the Nexus. In the tile area, go south from the Nexus door and enter the square gray building covered in vines. Once inside, go down the stairs then enter the door at the bottom. Go right past the tree and exit the room. Go south from the entrance of the previous room and enter the brown door. Interact with the mannequin at the top of the room.
Events
Royal Execution
(Lime effect is needed.)
Enter the top-left door in the Nexus. Cross the bridge below you then go right. Once you reach another bridge, go south then go right past the gray building. Enter the castle at the end of the path. Inside the castle, go north until you hit a wall. Go up the stairs either to your left or right, then continue north behind the guard NPCs. Enter the door at the end of the carpeted hallway.
Go up the next hall and use the Lime effect on the NPC sitting on the throne. Once all the NPCs have disappeared, exit the room. Walk about the castle interior until all the NPCs have run up to you and disappeared. When all the NPCs are gone, a cutscene will play.
