Overview
Dream Escaper is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame created by S.Izumina in WOLF RPG Editor.
Gameplay
Dream Escaper is a non-traditional fangame centered around exploration. Instead of having a nexus as a starting point, players can warp to different dream worlds (or "layers") by using the first option in the menu. Players can talk to most NPCs and save from the menu. If players are caught by a chaser, the game ends.
The goal of the game is to explore, collect items that will grant players new abilities, and achieve one of three possible endings. As the game goes on, players can unlock features on the title screen including a minigame, a music player, and a Memories (おもいで) section which logs accomplishments fulfilled during gameplay.

The game follows a faceless girl named Dres as she explores a strange dream world and meets various characters.
