Overview

A Walking Sim Story (also called A Walking Simulator Story) is an English Yume Nikki fangame developed by ChiefKat5019 in Unity. It is a 3D fangame with a first-person perspective.

Gameplay

A Walking Sim Story is a traditional fangame. Sleeping in the bed leads the player to the dream world. The goal of the game is to explore the dream world and obtain effects. There are also a number of collectibles that can be found, represented by small lights scattered throughout each world. Progress can be saved by interacting with the journal in the bedroom.

Each effect is assigned to a specific number, and can be toggled on or off by pressing the corresponding button.

Lamp N/A The player carries a flashlight. Pressing 1 turns on the flashlight, lighting up dark areas.
Song N/A Pressing 2 shuffles through the game's soundtrack. Also used to pass through walls in certain areas.
World Unloop N/A Pressing 3 prevents players being affected by loops in certain worlds.
Return N/A Pressing 4 sends the player back to the world they were previously in.
Bird Eyes N/A The player looks through a pair of green eyes. Pressing C allows the player to zoom in.
