Overview
August 31 (八月三十一号, Bā yuè sānshíyī hào) is a Chinese Yume Nikki Fangame created by Yongdao Zhiping in RPG Maker 2003. It stars Hua Ju, who seems to be a high school student.
Gameplay
August 31 plays like most Yume Nikki fangames, except that there are some events that have dialogue with other characters. One of which will unlock a third nexus door and the debug room; you need to interact with the middle of the dream room's painting to access it. It seems you can do this without collecting any of the effects.
The game has little to no music, the few of them being midis. There appears to be two endings, though they are inaccessible by normal means.

Plot
Like most protagonists, Hua Ju refuses to leave his room. There are events with dialogue that hint at the relationships between Hua Ju and the other characters as well as his past.
