Overview

Kou (絞) (can translate to "constrict/strangle") is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame created by Hokotate Makoto (鉾立真虚人) in RPG Maker 2000.

Gameplay

Kou is a traditional fangame with two playable characters: Okutsuki and Nawatsuki. The player will start out as Okutsuki. Sleeping in the bed will take the player into Okutsuki's dream world, while sitting at the desk will allow the player to save. To switch characters, the player must enter the room next to Okutsuki's through the balcony and interact with the small shrine.

Nawatsuki's gameplay section is similar to Okutsuki's. Entering the open door at the back of Nawatsuki's room will take the player to the Nexus. Interacting with the stuffed bear next to the shrine allows the player to save. The overall goal of the game is to explore and collect effects.
