The various automotive and mourning images in the dream world and the endings, such as the bloody utility pole, traffic light monsters, and Isokishi's ghost (killable with the Driving Wheel Effect) suggest that Isokishi died in a car accident.

A blackboard in the game shows an inscription: いそきJ (isokij), giving credence to the etymology of Isokishi as well as her cause of death.
