Overview

Yume Nyaki (originally called Project Nyaki) is a Yume Nikki Fangame created by Frankie1205 for the 2017 Dream Diary Jam. It currently stars Nyasuki. Nyasuki's older sister Kinoko used to be a playable character before the game was remade yet again.

Gameplay

Yume Nyaki is a traditional fangame. Nyasuki's main goal is finding effects in the dream world. He enters the dream world by sleeping in his bed. You save the game by using the computer in Nyasuki's bedroom.

In version Beta 2.2, Kinoko lives in the same house as Nyasuki and can also explore it. Her dream world is completely empty as of that version.

The creator has stated that after the latest version's release, they will be remastering the game again after finishing another project.

Plot

Nyasuki has a dream about being asked by a mysterious person known as Cheru to aid an "Administrator" in some way, and to not harm the tree that Cheru is standing in front of. Then Nyasuki wakes up, and his adventure begins.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Angel		Nyasuki becomes an angel. This effect increases your speed. Pressing Shift makes him do a small-sounding jump. Pressing 1 makes him do a bigger-sounding jump.
Camera		Nyasuki holds a camera. Pressing Shift turns the light red. Pressing it again changes it back to green.
Arrow		Nyasuki holds an arrow in his hand, can kill NPCs by interacting with them.
Melody		Nyasuki dresses up as Ninten from the Mother/Earthbound series.
Flower Pot		Nyasuki becomes a flower pot with a flower planted in it. Pressing Shift returns him to the Nexus. Pressing 1 makes the petals spin in the wind.
Fire		Nyasuki's head becomes made of fire, allowing him to see in dark areas. Pressing Shift plays a fire sound effect. Pressing 1 flashes the screen red.
Claws		Nyasuki has claws for hands.
_effect		Nyasuki's sprite becomes a distorted mess.
Devil		Nyasuki becomes a devil. His speed becomes faster than that of the Angel effect's, however he cannot enter Heaven as all the angels turn into chasers.
