Overview
Overview
Yumearuki is a Yume Nikki-inspired game made by Uwonozoki (うをのぞき) in RPG Maker 2000. This game is about a girl named Twill who refuses to leave her room for some reason. Yumearuki also draws inspiration from .flow, but is more traditional like Lcd Dem, Yume 2kki or Yume Nisshi.
Yume Aruki (ゆめあるき) (lit. Dream Walk or Dream Walking) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame made by UWONOZOKI (うをのぞき) in RPG Maker 2000.

The game draws heavily on animal, tropical, and desert imagery.

Gameplay
You begin the game in Twill's room, which has a TV, a bookshelf that can change menu styles, a bed, a desk where you can save your game and a balcony. The objective of this game is pretty standard - explore Twill's Yume Nikki inspired dream world and collect belongings (effects). What is a bit unusual about them is you can get one of the belongings in her dream room, without even going through the Nexus or one of its doors. Like in many similar fangames, you can get money for killing NPC's and use it to buy drinks (hearts/lives) from vending machines. Also, menu styles are collectible in this game.
Yume Aruki's play style and mechanics are largely similar to that of Yume Nikki, including the ability to drop effects in the Nexus. There's a combination of wide open, repeating worlds and non-looping corridors the player must navigate to find hidden effects.

Notably absent from this fangame are aggressive NPCs, extensive events, and the horror overtones from both Yume Nikki and its many fangames. However, the world remains expansive in a manner reminiscent of Yume Nisshi. Most of the effects are clothing-based wearables, as opposed to surrealist body alterations.

Overview

Yume Aruki (ゆめあるき) (lit. Dream Walk or Dream Walking) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame made by UWONOZOKI (うをのぞき) in RPG Maker 2000.

The game draws heavily on animal, tropical, and desert imagery.

Gameplay

Yume Aruki's play style and mechanics are largely similar to that of Yume Nikki, including the ability to drop effects in the Nexus. There's a combination of wide open, repeating worlds and non-looping corridors the player must navigate to find hidden effects.

Notably absent from this fangame are aggressive NPCs, extensive events, and the horror overtones from both Yume Nikki and its many fangames. However, the world remains expansive in a manner reminiscent of Yume Nisshi. Most of the effects are clothing-based wearables, as opposed to surrealist body alterations.

The player can buy soft drinks from a number of vending machines around the dream world and change the menu via the bookshelf in the bedroom. The player goes to bed to dream and saves at the desk.

Controls

 • Move - Arrow Keys
 • Interact/Select - Z/Space/Enter
 • Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
 • Effect Action - Shift
 • Dropping Effect (only in Nexus) - Long Pressing Z/Space/Enter

This game is about an avid reader named Twill who refuses to leave her room for some reason.
